Bakers Delight is owned and founded by Australians, Roger and Leslie Gilespie. The company expanded to the shores of New Zealand in 1995, with the first Bakers delight store opening in Auckland. The company now has a significant number of stores across New Zealand and Australia and distinctive maroon/red and white labeling that is consistent across both countries. Bakers Delight also has many stores in Canada and America.
